Here are detailed examples of Required Event Material rules.

Globally Requiring Event Material When Submitting Events for Approval

The admin wants to give event organizers the option of uploading an event outline when they submit a Congress for approval. The admin also decides that this rule should be implemented regardless of the event’s country.

To implement this rule:

  1. Navigate to the Event Business Rules tab.
  2. Create an event business rule with a record type of EM_Required_Event_Material_Rule_vod.
  3. Populate the following fields:

Requiring Event Material When Closing an Event

The admin wants to prevent organizers from closing a Speaker Program or Congress in the US without attaching certain tax documents.

To implement this rule:

  1. Navigate to the Event Business Rules tab.
  2. Create an event business rule with a record type of EM_Required_Event_Material_Rule_vod.
  3. Populate the following fields:
